ROB GRISSOM HOME DESIGNS specializes in residential designs of award-winning southern coastal cottages. I bring more than twenty years of home-planning experience and knowledge to my projects inland and oceanfront, and I proudly call Wilmington, North Carolina my home.

By listening carefully to my clients’ dreams and needs, I can design homes that offer so much more than just a living space. I create houses to be filled with life experiences and memories; they’re always to be known as, “home.”   I work directly with architectural review boards of gated communities and provide you with the comfort of knowing all the fine print is followed.

Providing cost-effective house plans that meet or exceed building codes has afforded me the opportunity to work with many well-regarded builders in the area who see eye-to-eye when it comes to building sound homes affordably. The builders with whom I’ve worked in the past are still clients today; reputation is everything in our business. If you don’t have a builder, I can confidently recommend one who will best meet your needs.

I will gladly customize your home plans based on your family needs, or will work with stock plans that can be modified to complement your own design. I can also provide economical renovation and addition designs to handle your growing families needs that blend exceptionally well with your existing home’s style. Over the years, I have provided designs for clients that turned their older home into new and exciting living spaces. In today’s ongoing market of foreclosures, I have renovated abandoned homes for my clients to “flip” and actually earn a nice profit on their minimal investment. A few of my clients have hired me to design new spaces in their homes to expedite a sale.
